lamb and claf day

My calf got to school.  I ran over there and dad started to walk over to me. He looked really sad. I said to him what's wrong and he said bucket had a accident. I started to really freak out tears started to come out of my eyes.Then I see bucket she is all scratched up and I said to dad what happened to bucket.He said that she fall of the back of the trailer when i was diving down here.I patted her walked back to the classroom feeling sad.

1st day of wellington

Our First Day In Wellington

Bang!!!!!! My alarm goes off . I got a huge fright and jumped out of bed with a huge wave of excitement ... but i was still so scared from when my alarm went off.

I start getting on my clothes with a huge wave of excitement and I put on the jug and start brushing my teeth. When the jug was ready I poured it all over my weet bix and put my milk and sugar on and start watching TV. When I was just about halfway through my weetabix mum got out of bed and she asked me, “Are you ready for camp?”

I said, “Yeah. I just need to brush my teeth and do my hair.” and she said, “Hurry up!!!!”

I finished my weet bix, did my hair and got into the car. I said bye to dad and off we went. I turned up my beats and then mum turned it down and she talked to me about to be good and listen.

We turn up to the MacDonald’s and wait for Tayler and Cidnee to turn up. Then they finally get here we say by to our mums and hop in the truck.

Zoom and off we go. We turn on the music. It was ‘7 years’ When we first started to go we were all quiet but then when we got past Kimbolton, we all started talking. When we got into Feilding Tayler and Cidnee went on Jacob’s ipod and Tayler went on my phone and she played Subway Surfer. When we were just about at Wellington we went past the water and I could see Kapiti and I told Wendy, Jacob, Cidnee and Tayler about how cool that camp was!!!!!!!

On the street we start walking up this massive hill … cars going by, rubbish flying by and graffiti all over the walls! But before we went to the top of the hill we went to Burger King and everyone got to choose out of an ice cream or a frozen drink. My whanau group got to go first because we were waiting the best and helping everyone in my group. I got a frozen coke, Elliot and Josie got an ice cream and Phinece got a frozen stack. In the frozen stack it was frozen coke, frozen raspberry and frozen sour apple. It looked nice but I still didn't get it. After everyone had got their drink we kept on stomping up the hill with sore legs.

When we finally hit the top we walked into the big tall museum and we sat down on the floor and before we got into all of the walking around and all the other stuff the instructor asked us if we wanted to go to the toilet. All of the girls went to the toilet and then Johnny and I went. When we were running over there we noticed that when our foot hit the ground it made such a loud noise through the whole place. It was sick! But when we got out of the toilet Mrs Fielder told Johnny and I off because we were too loud when we were running in the tall museum.

After we looked all around the museum we went down the steps around the water and down more steps and then there it was … the unknown warrior. The unknown warrior was a man in the war that no one knew about and they shipped him over on the boat and laid him down in his coffin and on the grave. It was a big square that was made out of metal and it had 4 stars on it. The four stars were there because of the 4 stars on the New Zealand flag. Around the unknown grave it had Maori words around it and english words as well.

Once we heard about all of that they had a ceremony. They have one everyday until 2018. It started in 2014 because WW1 started in 1914 and it ended in 1918 so instead of 1914 to 1918 they are doing it from 2014 to 2018. They needed a person to read the Ode in maori. Daniel did this for us.

So then once he had done that it was time to go. We were going to Monsoon Poon. We went there the last time we went to wellington. It was so yummy!

So of we went. We started walking down the stairs and on the road. When we got to Monsoon Poon all of us boys, like Johnny, Jackson, James, Jacob and I had a table to ourselves. We started to get bored when we were waiting for our food but then a while after that, when we were still waiting, we started to talk. We were all laughing like anything But then I was being too loud for a restaurant and Mrs Fielder kept on coming over because of that.

Monday the 28th of december 2015 we hit castle point with a big wave of excitment we made it to the house and we were getting out like like there was a lion just about to eat us it was so fast then when we got out we opened the boot and we got all of our stuff and we went to our room Huntah and i was in carravan and i was in the tent atached to the carrvan i was on a sceher and huntah was on bed when we put all of our stuff in there we went up the stairs and we put our food up there.but finally we got all of our stuff sorted we got out togs on and we went for a swim caleb huntah jacob lucas all went in a group then the rest was folling be hind us when we got down there we had to look for all the rips and see were it was safe to swim we found a spot and it was next to a dead fallin over tree so we put our stuff on the and we we and dived into the water with a big wave of excitment and then caleb huntah jacob sarah boinne le-arna and i and all of the rest stayed back in the shallow some of us went on the boge boards it was sick.but it scukewd when i wasnt looking and i got pushed over by a mavive wave and i couldent get back up but lucky i was next to sarah and she saw me a picked me up.i was so happy she was there so then after that i just stayed with her the hole time then with a big long hard swim we went home and we got dreesed and then we just played at home untill dinner has cooked.

leadership

At the leadership day it was all about how to be a leader and how to stand up for other people.I got to go on stage and I was given a badge, it was awesome. I went on stage because I wrote a good little bit in my book and I got chosen. I got chosen to go up for a game. I had to answer lots of questions to win.  I didn't win but I was really good at doing it. I also got picked for another game and we had a sentence and we had to say it to people.

The alarm goes off I wake up with excitement.I jump out of bed I get my clothes on then daniel turns up i throw my stuff in car and race down the road.On the way to Ohakune once we get to there we all have to eat some morning tea once we were finished we zoomed up to the mountain We got the first front row park everyone wasn't there yet so we rushed inside.When Mrs Cuming turned up we got to get all of our stuff Huntah was first and then I was second once everyone was there and got all of there stuff we got to get our pass and up the mountain.We were that early we had to wait until we could go up because there was no workers but lucky we were at the front of the line.It was Huntah Jeoff Calen and I  park lane chair lift wasnt open so we had to go up moven pick we all went up to the top of the mountain it was my first time to do it was an awesome feeling going up the top of the chair lift once you were right up the top of the mountain it was such a sick veiw I was amazed of how cool it was but I didnt look at for long down the moutain i go Huntah took me down the had bit while Jeoff and Calen went down the easy bit i only carshede about 3 times bit still i made it down the mountain with excitment I found Hannah and Brooke they were to scared to go up the top but I made them come up the top of the mountain once i took them up the top and chashed back down it was home time.

The first week of the holidays I went somewhere that you had to sign up for. You had to pay $150.00 to get in.We stayed 4 nights we went to flip city and temauwa. It had a massive rock climbing wall they had 3 tramps. You had to put shoes on when you went in the dinning room. You had to take off your shoes when you went in to the lounge. We done heaps of actives.

Thank you yaju so much for coming to teach us it was so exciting when you were here I learnt a lot from when you were here like when we were making Chinese dumplings and making some painting I really hope you can come back soon and I have had such a fun time.

Hoilday desption

Clip i clip my self on to the high wire corse in poriaua it was a massive forset With Brides, flying foxs that are 21 meters high, Swinging logs and there was still heaps of fun and exciting things to do I  I hop on the Flying fox Im yelling with fear Im going 120 km down the flying fox. B ut then I satat to stop.But then up a head there was drums that had a half a meter distance. Then a 24 meter drop we had to camado craw to get tough because you coulnd stand up But in the end I got arcoss Finally I say in my head.The next one was cross made out of wood and they were swinging side to side it took me about 20 minutes before I could get over to the other side.After that there was rope and hanging off there was horse shoes I was climbing acoross but then I got my foot stuck in the horse shoes I couldnt go anymore so I climbed back and hopped down

rugby story

In the weekend it was rugby we were vsing college it was one of the best games we have had all seson Tyler scored 2 trys and jackson scored 1 try Dylan scored 0 it was a really good game the end score was 12-8 to them but it was a good game after i got donuts because I scored 2 trys

Fungi description

The creepy crawler mushroom lives on a rotten piece of wood. The stalk grows from the same base with their long spindly stems. The brown cap looks like a plate no more than 11 cm. They reproduce when the spores fall out of the gills and land beneath them and then they make more.

The deep dark cold sawdow with the sun gleaming behind the magical trees.Millions of fungi poping up with it's pancake like heads. The best looking ones are the ones with the red and write pocadots looking like smuf homes.

In the week end the Sandbrooks and went to jocks hut.It was for Dylan's birthday it was so fun we went up there on the 4 wheeler s it was a little bit scary when we were right on the edge.it was a really good view when we were up at the top it was amazing I couldn't believe when we were ready jock took us for a shoot we left at 4;30 we walked down a little bit of them track and then we adventured in the bush it was sliprey and a down hill James and I was just slipping everywhere and I keeped on falling in the stinging needle bush it really hurt. my hands were really buzzy dark was staring to fall but then we saw a deer it was a 4 pointer it had a stuffed up antler it was like a hook.Jock with his 270 bang he got it I couldn't believe it so we went over to it and it was in a muddy dam       

13 story tree hose

Andy and terry's 13 story tree house is the most amazing tree House the world.
Its got a bowling alley,man eating shark tank,a room full of pillows a laboratory and more.
and at the moment they are making see monkeys they have tree eyes 4 feet and more so start to read it.

In the hoilday

In the holiday we went down to the beach. It was enomolisy fun climbing the tree. We made a bed up in the tree we were going to sleep up there but It was so cold We could of froze to death.I was sleeping on the end of the tree I could of fell out of the tree. Huntah was a bit away from me and he was right on the edge as well.When it was night time Nana Grandad and I had mince that was yum and Then for pudding we had magnimes It was like a bomb Just went bang in my mouth.The next day we played a game of cricket we ceeped on losing the balls.Once we lost all the balls we Had a cup of tea.

Trail ride

On Sunday it was the Apiti School trail ride. The trail ride is a fundraiser for Apiti School. This year we had 405 riders come.  It is over Apiti farmland. 

When we got up, we got our stuff on and rushed down. Mum went in the car and Huntah and I rode our motorbikes down. We were one of the first people there. There was a frost so my toes felt like they were falling off. 

Ten minutes later bikes came pounding through the gates. I couldn't believe it. Briefing was at 9:45 but because there were so many people they changed it to 10:00. 

First I went around with Tony and Wade but later on I went around by myself. It was petty easy to go around the track. I only crashed once and that was on the adults' track. The adults' track was a bit harder then the intermediate track. The intermediate was muddy, slippery, fast and the best bit ... getting stuck in the metre deep water and filling your boots up with water. The adults track was wet, hard and muddy with big hill climbs, deep rivers and ... the best ... going really fast and just about breaking your arm.That's why I love going to trail rides. 

It's scary when a whole lot of motorbikes come next to you when you are right on the edge of a hill. 

The gates closed at 3:00 but I had a really good day going around the track and next year,  I hope I can get a better motorbike.     

Camp - day 4

Splash as we hammer against the waves. They are 4 metre swells. I started to feel sea sick. Brooke was sitting next to me. Ladies were coming around with bags and ice to suck on. They were enormously freezing on my teeth. In got the chill  I froze.
Brooke was laying  trying to get some sleep but everyone was just too noisy.
I vomited but lucky I had a bag there and I did it in there. I put it in the rubbish bin and I got another bag.
When I looked in one spot the feeling started to go away. Dylan, Brooke and I all went outside. When we got out there it was like a blizzard out there. It was so cold. While we were out there Brooke's hair was going everywhere. When we got so cold we went back in side.
10 minutes later Brooke vomited. After that she had a lay down. Jackson was a seat in front and he had a whole line to himself.
Land was not far in front. We could see Wellington. It was an amazing view. When we got off the boat we went to Wagamama and had a feed.
