Kapiti Camp

Boom ... I woke up. My legs were exhausted! We were waiting for Derek because we were taking him. We stopped at McDonald's and had a egg mac muffin and hot chocolate. It was terrific. Mum told Travis, Huntah, Derek and I to not spill our hot chocolate. Then Travis spilled  it. When we arrived at the boat we all put our stuff on the boat and set off on our way to explore Kapiti island.
As we arrived at the campsite, our stuff was already at the tree and then Mrs Cuming told us the boundary line; where we can't go without an adult or by our self.
We put our gear on the back yard and set up our tents and put our sleeping bags in the tent too.
And then the Kakas were landing on us and then we traveled down to the sea. Tt looked amazing and we went snorkeling. I saw some crayfish and lots of big fish.
The next day we went down to the sea and had a swim and I saw a stingray and I floated over it and then we saw another stingray. It was little compared to the one that I saw.
Then we went down to the fishing and on the way I found lots of paua shells.
When we were there we made a paua kingdom. It was amazing. It was shining and we put some bones in it too.
Then we came home and played with the swing that I found and some of us were playing with the eel. There were two big ones and a little one as well. Then we had lunch. That was croissants and after we had hot cross buns. They were delicious and then                           we had a tent inspection. They thought Alex's Derek's and my tent was very clean.
Then we went down to the rock pools and I found some paua but I couldn't get it out and then it was night time. But me and Alex could not get to sleep.
It took long as the get to sleep and then me and him got up and we were trying to find the torch and then I went on top of Derek but he did not wake up. BUT it was too late. We rushed to the toilet. We went toilet and then we tried to go to sleep ... get to sleep.
But then it was morning. We all had breakfast and went out to play and then we went for a walk. It was very big and then we went snorkeling and there were lots and lots of hoes and fish. We saw jelly fish and some squid. There was lots of sea weed.
When we got home Boysie gave us some fish. We had that for tea and Huntah made some paua fritters and they tasted yum.
Then we packed up our stuff and waited for the boat and then it came to take us home.
I shouted across the Boat saying to Dylan,"There is a sting ray." It was a very big sting ray. It was as big as me and Dylan and then I saw a big fish. It was like a shark. It was very BIG. It had spots on it and white stripes. When we got back we saw a baby shark and then we left.
