Camp - day 4

Splash as we hammer against the waves. They are 4 metre swells. I started to feel sea sick. Brooke was sitting next to me. Ladies were coming around with bags and ice to suck on. They were enormously freezing on my teeth. In got the chill  I froze.
Brooke was laying  trying to get some sleep but everyone was just too noisy.
I vomited but lucky I had a bag there and I did it in there. I put it in the rubbish bin and I got another bag.
When I looked in one spot the feeling started to go away. Dylan, Brooke and I all went outside. When we got out there it was like a blizzard out there. It was so cold. While we were out there Brooke's hair was going everywhere. When we got so cold we went back in side.
10 minutes later Brooke vomited. After that she had a lay down. Jackson was a seat in front and he had a whole line to himself.
Land was not far in front. We could see Wellington. It was an amazing view. When we got off the boat we went to Wagamama and had a feed.

Camp - day 3

Today we were packing up all our stuffWe were all going down to the jetty. Down there our boat was there waiting for us. They were taking us on a dolphin tour.
At first we saw some fish. They were blue cod.  The lady told us that girls could change into boys.
After that we saw some seals. They were fur seals. The fur seals were sunbathing on the rocks. There was three seals.
Next we went on to seeing the dolphins. They were Hectors Dolphins. They had a round fin that looked like Mickey mouse ears. I saw 8 dolphins. They were amazing. I learnt lots about them.
I had a great time in Mistletoe Bay.

Camp - Day 2

Splash as I go in the water from standing up on the paddle board.
I'm rocking.
I'm just about to flip off again but when I got the hang of it I started to go to where the sharks and the sting ray where. I saw some fish and some star fish. Jackson and I were doing some races. I won of course.
But still later on in the day I was still falling off the paddle board.
There was no paddle boards when you go back to shore. I had a turn on the sail boats. It's pretty scary when you pick up speed and you have to be pretty good if you are with the wind sail.

Camp - Day 1

Pick pick pick as we pick off the mussels that are on the side of the jetty. We are picking the biggest mussels that are there.
I can't believe it ... Dylan and I are picking some that are 20cm long! We hold our breath and go under. They are so hard to get. We can only get a little bit off and then we have to go up for another breath. We still try and get that same mussel. In the end we only got one mussel. So we hold our breath and then we go under and we keep on having our fun.

Triathlon writing

"Year 6 boy's go over to the start line!"Mrs Cuming yells out on the microphone. My heart starts racing feeling scared as I have ever been. So Jackson, Fisher and I walk over to the start. We had to go first while the girls were sitting down waiting. Mr Richardson started to say (on your masks ... get set ... GO). We started to sprint. Everyone was cheering us on full of excitement. Remy gets into the lead while Jackson and I were coming last. We sprint past the adults, we run behind the tank and through the gate. While we are still scared out of our pants the first person has already gone around the corner. I'm starting to puff and back through the gate we go. All the adults are still cheering us on as we are doing our half a lap. Our bikes are just ahead of us.I've finally passed 3 people.I get my helmet on and get on my bike and zoom off. There are marshalls down at the corner cheering me on. There is a person right in front of me so I pass him and go around the corner. The corner is a few metres in front so I start pumping it around the corner.Wossssssh ... down the hill pumping as fast as I can. Another person I front of me ... Try to speed up ... I'm catching up ... Around him but he his still right behind me. He's trying to catch up to me. He's so close but we are just about to hop off our bikes and run to the pool. Onto the gravel and off our bikes we go. I'm taking off my shoes and he's still trying I sprint to the pool. I'm using the last of my energy dive into the pool. He's starting to run. When I had already done 2 lengths he just hopped in. So I hop out and do my 4 lengths. Done too. Then on to my other two. I am puffing out my guts. I can't last but I've finished my lengths! I can hop out and run to the finish line. Everyone is cheering and I pass the finish line. I can't believe it. I get my number then I lie down proud as I have ever been. Nana takes my photo and then we walk off proud as.
